2025 Cardiology Guidelines: What's New

The 2025 American College of Cardiology (ACC) guideline updates for acute coronary syndromes, blood pressure management, and cardiogenic shock offer important clarifications and reinforce many evidence‑based practices already in place across the enterprise.

Several of the recommendations (such as standardized post‑cath care, cardiac rehabilitation referral, and risk stratification) are already embedded in our accreditation requirements and daily workflows, helping ensure consistent, high‑quality care for our patients. As we continue developing our cardiogenic shock program and monitor future systemwide updates to policies and order sets, these guidelines will serve as a valuable foundation for ongoing alignment and clinical excellence.
