Crash course in appropriate parking on Lutheran’s campus
We’ll cruise down to the parking map in just a minute. But first, a quick drive-by of the parking offenses that have generated the most offense from your colleagues and fellow parkers on Lutheran’s campus.
Your one car is taking up more than one spot. Remember your high school driver’s ed: You should park you car parallel to the lines, not perpendicular.
You’ve parked your gas guzzler at an EV charging station. Or, you have a legit EV or hybrid, but you’ve left it there well longer than the four-hour limit. The charging stations are to ensure you can get home, not all the way to Houston.
You’re parked as if you’re confused. You should never park in Visitors’ Lots A or E because you’re not a visitor. You work here.
Parking at Lutheran Hospital
This map shows Parking Lot D and the second level of the garage are reserved exclusively for physicians.
For any first-time violation, you’ll receive this green sticker on your windshield.
Please review the violations listed here and keep in mind this sticker does not list all possible offenses, as noted in this article.
For the second violation, your car will get booted.
For the third violation, your car will be towed.
Stay in control of your own cruise! Thank you for parking in the spots designated for physicians and for being respectful of everyone’s need to park close to their work or the care they need.
