Excellence in action: Physicians, APPs, and clinics receive top awards for patient care
By Christa Bruning, Intermountain Health Communications Manager
Recently, 520 Intermountain physicians, advanced practice professionals, and clinic teams were recognized with Service Excellence Awards for their exceptional commitment to patient experience and quality in 2025. The Service Excellence Awards are part of the L.O.V.E. awards and represent the trust that patients have in each of our awardees.
Honorees were celebrated at recognition events across the regions, showcasing the outstanding work of these providers and clinic teams who work tirelessly to consistently deliver excellent patient experiences and clinical care.
“Clinical excellence shows up in the choices our teams make every day,” said JP Valin, MD, chief clinical officer. “Across Intermountain, the care they provide reflects our commitment to healing those we serve and demonstrates true partnership in the health of our patients and communities.”
Through their dedication to compassionate, high-quality care, these physicians, APPs, and clinic teams help support better health outcomes, reduce costs, increase preventive screenings, strengthen chronic condition management, improve medication reconciliation during care transitions, and create positive experiences for patients. We’re honored to celebrate their outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence.
