Our season of gratitude

During this season of gratitude, I want to share with you some things I am very grateful for.

First, it was wonderful to be a part of the annual awards dinner to celebrate you and meet your families. Congratulations to Ryan Kemp, PA, for being honored as the APP of the Year, Dr. Ken Lyn-Kew, for being recognized as the Physician of the Year and Dr. Mark Ammons, for receiving the Legends in Leadership Award. This is well-deserved recognition!

I knew Saint Joseph Hospital was a special place when I joined the team, and as I get to know you all, I understand even better why that is. It is because of not only your clinical expertise but also your compassion for our patients and commitment to each other.

I also want to express my genuine thanks to all our physicians and providers who have welcomed me into the Saint Joe’s family. I appreciate that you have taken the time to answer my questions and share your thoughts about how together we will ensure continued success and a bright future.

I hope you all can take some time over the holiday season to spend with your loved ones and to relax and recharge. And for those of you who will be here caring for our patients who are spending the holidays in the hospital, I can’t thank you enough.
