Proposed Medical Staff Rules change at Platte Valley Hospital
At its June meeting, the Platte Valley Medical Executive Committee will vote on a proposed rules change that affects daily patient rounding. The new language is included below.
“Daily patient rounding may be delegated to an APP when within the APP’s scope of practice. The patient’s care must be reviewed with the attending physician daily, and such review must be documented by the APP in the medical record.”
