Update on changes across Peaks Region Medical Group
By Scott Peek, Peaks Region Operational Lead & Front Range President, and Lee Syphus Peaks Region Vice President of Medical Group Operations
We want to share an important update about changes taking place across Peaks Region Medical Group. We know there has been a significant amount of change in our region, and we are committed to being as transparent and supportive as possible.
Across the region, we are making a series of changes that include the closure of four clinics, adjustments to six clinic programs, and updates to leadership structures and staffing. These decisions are not easy and we know they impact people in very real ways. You can learn about each market’s respective changes here.
We are making these changes because the healthcare environment continues to evolve rapidly, with rising costs, workforce challenges, and ongoing financial pressures in our region. Acting now is necessary to stabilize our operations and ensure we can continue delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for the long term. This work is part of our broader Evergreen 3.0 and Health System Optimization efforts to strengthen our foundation for the future, while also positioning us to thoughtfully grow and expand access to care in areas where community needs are emerging.
We recognize that this is hard. Change at this scale can feel personal and unsettling. At the same time, it matters that we take these steps now so we can continue to be here for our patients, our communities, and each other in the years ahead. For those caregivers directly impacted, we are committed to providing support and access to resources, including transition support, career assistance, and benefits guidance. We are also working closely with our Physician Recruitment and Talent Acquisition teams to help identify new opportunities whenever possible.
We will also continue to provide updates and opportunities to ask questions as we move forward.
Thank you for the compassion and care you show every day for our patients and for each other. We truly are better together.
