3 Lutheran physicians receive kudos
We’re deeply grateful to all physicians and advanced practice professionals who provide care so exceptional and compassionate that patients take the time to contact us and make sure we know how fortunate we are to have you on our medical staff. We know, and we love hearing about it! This month, it’s our pleasure to recognize three physicians who received kudos from patients.

“Wonderful doctor. I went to Dr. Shandra Wilson because I have a phobia of urologists. I was very comfortable and relaxed. I have a phobia because of a childhood experience. Now I will not hesitate to see Dr. Wilson, whereas in the past I avoided a urology appointment. Dr. Wilson is very personable and knowledgeable in her field. She allowed me time to ask all of my questions at my follow-up appointment, and I never felt rushed. I felt like she genuinely cared.”
Nomination by a patient for an Intermountain LOVE Award
I would like to recognize Dr. Robert Madayag and Dr. Noelle Bertelson.
I flew in from northwest Kansas for your help. Lutheran was an A+ in my book. The best doctor was Dr. Madayag, referring my case to Dr. Bertelson. He stopped in before his flight to Chicago for his mother’s birthday to assure me I was in good hands. The care was exceptional and the attentiveness was on the mark.
Extra notes: The food from the kitchen was delivered fresh and hot and tasty. The servers were clean and nice and kind. I especially appreciated the good phlebotomists, blood draws that didn’t leave me black and blue! Special kudos to the attending nursing staff. The cleaning crew was top notch. The Emergency Room was prompt.
