We’re deeply grateful to all physicians and advanced practice professionals who provide care so exceptional and compassionate that patients take the time to contact us and make sure we know how fortunate we are to have you on our medical staff. We know, and we love hearing about it! This month, it’s our pleasure to recognize 15 clinicians who received kudos from patients.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Mario Giovanini, MD. Words are not enough to express the thanks and gratitude I have for the care given to me. I'm truly humbled — well, angels do exist. Intermountain Health really sets the bar extremely high. You are truly a blessing in my life, and please know that the work you do is seen and appreciated. You touch lives in ways you don't see, and restore hope to those who have lost it. Thank you, and the best to you all.

Michelle Hintz, DO, took great care of me. I was from out of town and expecting a long wait for an ER visit, but I was taken care of quickly and efficiently by all staff. Dr. Hintz explained everything well, and I could completely understand what she was recommending.
Alexis Hokenstad, MD, and all the other staff were awesome. Everyone was so kind and understanding during my few days in the hospital.

Trevor McCotter, MD, was delightful. All the people who cared for me were very kind and caring. Most had a fun sense of humor that added to my positive visit — when I had a scan of the back of my head, he said I had no bleeding, but it did prove I had a brain.

Douglas Parker, MD, and the check-in attendant, triage nurse, and room RN were simply amazing! They made a very treacherous experience seem safe, made me feel heard, and provided top-notch care.

Douglas Parker, MD, is a godsend. He is the best thing you have in the ER — a one-man show who keeps all the plates spinning without letting any crash to the floor. Dr. Parker, doctor of the year!
