Intermountain Health announces partnership with AdventHealth

I want to start by acknowledging what I know many of us are feeling right now. The recent announcement about the future of healthcare in Intermountain's Front Range market has understandably raised questions about what comes next for Saint Joseph Hospital, our affiliated clinics, and the physicians and APPs who make this organization such an essential part of our community.

While there may be a sense of uncertainty, our mission, our commitment to Catholic healthcare, and our responsibility to provide safe, high-quality, compassionate care to every patient who comes through our doors remains the same. That purpose, which was established by the Sisters of Charity, has guided Saint Joseph for more than 150 years, and it will continue to guide every decision we make in the months ahead.

As we move through this season of change and don’t have all the answers to questions, until the deal closes, our work does not change. Please know that we will share details with you as soon as we know more about specifics around aspects of your work such as call coverage, existing contracts, medical staff privileges, and care delivery across the market.

I know uncertainty can be unsettling, particularly when it touches your practice, your teams, and the patients you serve, and I do not take that lightly. Intermountain Health remains committed to our success, and I also know that the future of Saint Joseph Hospital will be shaped by our collective dedication to mission and patient care. Those priorities are steady, they are meaningful, and they are the foundation for a bright future.
