Lutheran, Saint Joseph named top performers by Vizient

Thirteen Intermountain Health hospitals have been named top performers by Vizient’s Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award program.

This award recognizes hospitals that deliver high-quality care as measured by the Vizient Quality and Accountability Study across six domains: safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness and variation in care, using performance data from 2025 to 2026. Vizient describes these organizations as demonstrating an exceptional commitment to safe, effective and patient-centered care. That is right care, right time, without harm or waste in an Always Safe environment.
