Mountain West Anesthesia, which provides anesthesia services to our Intermountain Health Salt Lake City hospitals, will transition to a team-based delivery model that will include physicians, CRNAs and a new advanced practice provider category – CAAs, or certified anesthesiologist assistants.
Adding a new APP category requires a vote from the hospitals’ Medical Executive Committees, and you have the opportunity to provide written comments for your leaders to consider before they vote on this change. If you would like to do so, please fill out the form below.
